At the end of the service, the family steps forward, gathering around the single dove. All family members place a hand on the lid, and as a group lift the lid and liberate the pure white dove to fly up and into heaven. Immediately afterwards, a flock of doves are released, symbolizing God's angels. The angel doves fly up and surround the single spirit dove, then all the birds fly home together. |

For example, our most requested dove release is within 15 miles of Modesto and includes the spirit dove for the family to release plus the 21 angel doves. $140. A release from Stockton, Lodi, or Tracy is $175. A release from Livermore, over the mountain range, is $225. A release from Antioch, Concord area is $250. A release from Santa Nella at the San Joaquin National Cemetery (Gustine area) is $195. A spectacular cloud of 50 doves for a release in the Modesto area is $350.
